Volunteer strategy almost finalised.
Logo almost settled.
Training opportunities for self and volunteers identified and secured.
First pot of Cultural Squatters art/community project funding secured (small but it’s money we didnt have before!)
We have a week for decorating sorted.
Painting party!!
If you wanna help out slapping up some paint in the cafe/venue please inbox or tx me. 2nd -8th April. Even if you only have an hour free, your help will be appreciated so entirely (and name featured on live stream thingie we are launching for our big weekend opening but more info down the line about that).
Wrap Up Newcastle still ongoing. Shall be able to collect last few donations.
Plus latest chapter in Circus Farm written, gained some lovely new members of storytelling workshops, and waiting to hear about big news concerning community art funding for other projects I am running independent of CS.
...and that’s just this week (made up for being poorly last week!)
Please keep showing us the love, share the posts, talk about us (insert relevant Oscar Wilde quote, coz haters gonna hate) and remember we are doing this to fill the massive, gaping hole created by central Government’s decimation of (what we consider to be) front line services which helped an array of vulnerable people (pretty much anyone of us at some point in our lives), as we are creating a truly inclusive space for all, signposting to additional services, a verified ‘Safer Place’... all which also happens to be a cool af venue and ping pong parlour, an alternative education space (available to hire), an art project in itself, free rehearsal space for artists, orators and performers etc ... we are the anti-Costa.
Be part of something vital and cool and fun whilst you drink your brew!! And you can bring your dog!
